Karate Olympics

The David Deaton Karate Studios Karate Olympics, our second all school function of the year, is gearing up to be a great tournament for our students!

We plan on continuing the spirit of Olympic competition and award Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to our Hendersonville, Brentwood, Lebanon, and Mt. Juliet team members. Also, the school that wins the most medals at the Karate Olympics wins the school trophy, which stays at the winning school for a year.

The purpose of our intramural events (Karate Challenge and Karate Olympics) is to help educate students on tournament competition and help raise funds for Project Sparrow scholarship fund.

Registration starts Monday, August 19.

Registration Fee

Each competition registration fee includes two (2) spectator tickets. Additional spectator tickets are $3.00 each. Children 3 and under are free.

Cash or Check Only (No Charge and Debit Cards).

No shoes are allowed on the gym floor. Competitors and officials only in competition area!! Spectators must stay in the bleachers.

From Hendersonville Dojo: (roughly 40 minutes)

  • Get on TN-386 North (Vietnam Veterans Blvd)
  • Turn Right to merge onto TN-109 South toward Lebanon/Gallatin
  • Turn Right onto TN-109 S/S Water Avenue
  • Turn Left onto Wildcat Way
  • Turn Right to stay on Wildcat Way
  • Destination is on the left

From Lebanon Dojo: (roughly 15 minutes)

  • Get on I-40 West
  • Take exit 235 for TN-840 West towards Murfreesboro
  • Continue on I-840 West
  • Take exit 72 for Central Pike/TN-265
  • Turn Right onto TN-265 West/Central Pike
  • Turn Right onto Wildcat Way
  • Turn Right to stay on Wildcat Way
  • Destination is on the Left

From Mt. Juliet Dojo: (roughly 20 minutes)

  • Get on I-40 East towards Knoxville
  • Take exit 232A towards State Route 109 South
  • Merge onto TN-109 South
  • Turn Left onto Wildcat Way
  • Turn Right to stay on Wildcat Way
  • Destination is on the left
