The David Deaton Karate Stu­dios Karate Olympics, our sec­ond all school func­tion of the year, is gear­ing up to be a great tour­na­ment for our stu­dents!

We plan on con­tin­u­ing the spir­it of Olympic com­pe­ti­tion and award Gold, Sil­ver and Bronze medals to our Hen­der­son­ville, Brent­wood, Lebanon, and Mt. Juli­et team mem­bers. Also, the school that wins the most medals at the Karate Olympics wins the school tro­phy, which stays at the win­ning school for a year.

The pur­pose of our intra­mur­al events (Karate Chal­lenge and Karate Olympics) is to help edu­cate stu­dents on tour­na­ment com­pe­ti­tion and help raise funds for Project Spar­row schol­ar­ship fund.

Reg­is­tra­tion starts Mon­day, August 13.

Registration Fee

  • By Sep­tem­ber 12: $45 (BBC $40)
  • After Sep­tem­ber 12: $50 (BBC $45).
  • At the door (day of event): $50 (No Dis­counts)

Each com­pe­ti­tion reg­is­tra­tion fee includes two (2) spec­ta­tor tick­ets. Addi­tion­al spec­ta­tor tick­ets are $3.00 each. Chil­dren 3 and under are free.

From Brent­wood Dojo:

  • Get on I-65 N in Nashville from Old Hick­o­ry Blvd
  • Fol­low I-65 N to TN-174 E/Long Hol­low Pike in Goodlettsville.
  • Take exit 97 from I-65 N
  • Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto TN-174 E/Long Hol­low Pike (signs for Gal­latin)
  • School is on the left

From Lebanon Dojo:

  • Head west on W Main St toward Clearview Dr
  • Fol­low Lebanon Rd and TN-109 N to TN-174 W/Long Hol­low Pike in Sum­n­er Coun­ty
  • Turn right onto TN-174 W/Long Hol­low Pike

From Mt. Juli­et Dojo:

  • Take Old Mt Juli­et Rd S to Old Lebanon Dirt Rd
  • Take E Divi­sion St to Quar­ry Rd
  • Fol­low Quar­ry Rd to TN-109 N
  • Fol­low TN-109 N to TN-174 W/Long Hol­low Pike in Sum­n­er Coun­ty
